RINA Certified Marine Aluminum

RINA is the certification mark of the Italian Ship Classification Society, Registro Italiano Navale. RINA certified marine aluminum plates refer to aluminum plates marine grade that meet the relevant certification requirements of the Italian Ship Classification Society. These marine aluminum plates typically need to meet certain quality standards, including uniformity, lack of delamination, cracks, as well as reducing or eliminating segregation and non-metallic inclusions in the steel.

The RINA certified marine aluminum plates mainly include the following three types of 5000 series aluminum alloys:

- 5083 aluminum alloy:

5083 aluminum plate can be considered as the representative product of 5000 series aluminum plates for shipbuilding. Its alloy composition mainly consists of aluminum (Al), silicon (Si), copper (Cu), magnesium (Mg), zinc (Zn), manganese (Mn), titanium (Ti), chromium (Cr), and iron (Fe). This rina certificated aluminum plate has moderate strength, good corrosion resistance and formability, as well as high fatigue resistance, and is usually used as the main structure of the hull.

- 5052 aluminum alloy:

This alloy is also widely used in ship structures or pressure vessels, pipelines, hulls, and decks.

- Other aluminum alloys:

In addition to the above two aluminum alloys, there are also 5086 aluminum alloy, 5383 aluminum alloy, 5454 aluminum alloy and 5456 aluminum alloy, which are commonly used in ship structures or pressure vessels, pipelines, hulls, and decks.

These rina certification naval aluminum alloys all have high strength and corrosion resistance, easy processing, and are safe and reliable, and are widely used in shipbuilding.

RINA certified marine aluminum
plates need to meet a series of strict quality requirements and technical standards to ensure safety and reliability during ship manufacturing and use. The formulation and implementation of these standards and requirements can guarantee the quality and safety of ships, thereby improving their service life and reliability.
