Aluminium Plate Marine Grade 8 mm
The aluminium plate marine grade 8 mm are applied for the construction of hull structures, superstructures and other offshore facilities. The marine grade aluminum plate for shipbuilding mainly adopt thickness of 3mm-50mm. When marine grade aluminum alloys products are used in boats, their chemical composition, delivery condition and mechanical properties are to be submitted to CCS for review, and upon approval, they can be used in ships and marine engineering structures. The edges of marine grade aluminum alloy products should be flush and free of burrs, and the dimensions and tolerances should meet the relevant technical conditions. The surface of aluminum alloy products should not have cracks, delamination, corrosion, oxide inclusions, peeling, bubbles, nitrate traces and serious mechanical damage and harmful defects that affect subsequent processing or use.
For manufacturers of aluminium plate marine grade 8 mm, they offer many certificates, the common used are DNV, CCS, ABS, BV, LR, KR. The marine grade aluminum plate manufacturer is to provide a certificate of conformity with the following contents for all products that have been inspected and qualified:
1, The quantity, size and weight of the product;
2, Aluminum alloy grade and delivery status;
3, Chemical composition of marine grade aluminum alloy;
4, Manufacturing batch number or identification mark that can trace the entire production process of the product;
5, Test results of mechanical properties;
6, Corrosion performance test results.
We know that the aluminium plate marine grade 8 mm have aluminum grades of 5000 series and 6000 series, the product type are sheet, plate, profile, tube, extrusion, pipe and so on.
