Marine Grade Aluminium Plates 5083 h111

Marine grade aluminium plates 5083 h111 has excellent corrosion resistance and weldability, coupled with high strength, this alloy is specifically designed for welded structures requiring maximum weld strength and efficiency. The magnesium alloy of 5083 marine grade aluminum plate is usually around 4%-4.5%, which belongs to the series with relatively high magnesium alloy content in the 5000 series aluminum plate. Magnesium alloy can provide hardness. Generally, the higher the magnesium alloy content, the higher the hardness of the aluminum plate. The hardness of the 5083 aluminum plate is close to that of the 6061 aluminum plate.

Marine grade aluminium plates 5083 h111 is a typical magnesium-aluminum-silicon alloy with high corrosion resistance and rust resistance. The underwater part of the ship, especially in the perennial seawater contact, the underwater part of the hull should be able to resist the corrosion of seawater for a long time. And these products often use 5083 H111, 5083H116 and 5083H321, H116 and H321 of 5083 marine grade aluminum plate have good corrosion resistance and are more suitable for the underwater environment of the ocean than H111 and H112. Although the temperature of 5083 H116 aluminum plate and 5083 H321 marine grade aluminum plate is only slightly different in the production process, the corrosion resistance is obviously better than other states. The marine grade aluminum plate supplied by Haomei Aluminum have gain CSS DNV LR ABS BV certification, which ensure the product quality for shipbuilding.

The marine grade aluminium plates 5083 h111 can be purchased from Haomei Aluminum, and other tempers are also on sale. According to CCS "Code for Materials and Welding":

1, H111:

Aluminum alloy with magnesium content not less than 3.0%, it is suitable for products with sufficient work hardening under the condition that the final annealing does not meet the requirements of the annealed state, but the degree of work hardening is not completely consistent with the HX1 state;

2, H112:

Aluminum alloy with magnesium content not less than 3.0%, it is suitable for products that obtain certain characteristics during thermal processing, and such products have mechanical properties requirements.

3, H116:

Aluminum alloy with magnesium content not less than 3.0%, in the state after anti-corrosion treatment;

4, H321:

The state of aluminum alloy with magnesium content not less than 3.0% after work hardening and stabilization treatment.
